Gold and silver crosses were stolen from St. Nicholas the Wonderworker's temple in North Kazakhstan
On the night of October 7 in the village of Novoishim the unknown criminal by broking a window has got into the building of the "Temple of the prelate Nicholas The Wonderworker" from where he has stolen gold and silver products.
According to the head of the press service of DIA of the North Kazakhstan area Madina Balgashukova, damage has made 584 thousand tenges, BNews.kz correspondent reports.
"Employees of operational-investigations group on this fact have made inspection of the scene with participation of the prior of orthodox parish. During survey it is established that unknown persons by means of metal scrap have torn off a window lattice in the kitchen room of church then the extraction of a plastic window has been made. Any security alarm systems and surveillance cameras in church aren't mounted," Balgashukov added.
As a result of a complex of actions for the purpose of disclosure of this crime by police the suspect has been detained in the city of Petropavlovsk on orientation.
