The Financial Regulator approved the procedures of selling mini gold bars to the population issued by the National Bank.

The Financial Regulator approved the procedures of selling mini gold bars to the population issued by the National Bank.

The programme envisaging sales of refined gold in bars was launched by the National Bank in 2017, in the first phase - through second-tier banks, and in the second phase - thought designated organizations.

"Expansion of the field of activities of non-bank exchange offices will positively affect the geography of sales of refined gold in bars and will enable to buy gold bars of the National Bank in the most remote regions. Information on mini gold bars, including booklets with their security elements, is available on the website of the National Bank of Kazakhstan on the link," they commented in the National Bank.

Preparation works for selling bars through exchange offices have started in September. There are no taxes and fees on gold transactions.
