Absolute world champion in middleweight - American Bernard Hopkins tops the list.
Kazakh boxer Gennady Golovkin ranks second among top middleweights of the 21st century, Bnews.kz reports.
The Kazakh boxer leads and beat Hopkins and 'Canelo' in the average number of punches landed per round.
The author of the top-10 list is ESPN reporter Nigel Collins.
American boxer Bernard Hopkins tops the list, meanwhile, Golovkin leads in the number of punches landed per round.
"It didn't take long for Golovkin to punch his way into the hearts of American fight fans. His popularity grew exponentially with every knockout victory. And his polite demeanor, charming but stilted use of the English language and eagerness to give the public a "Big Drama Show" further enhanced his popularity," writes Collins.
It should be noted that Saul Alvarez ranks third. The Golovkin-'Canelo' rematch is held on September 15 in Las Vegas.
