First Naib Mufti Nauryzbay kashy Taganuly was assigned as the head Imam of the republican mosque 'Hazrat Sultan' and representative of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan in Astana. The head Imam was introduced by Supreme Mufti Serikbay kazhy Oraz during the general meeting with the participation of the Chairman of Kazakhstan's Spiritual Administration of Muslims, BNews.kz reports.
During the meeting, the Supreme Mufti while evaluating the situation since the year's beginning told about the necessity of a qualified head in the face of Nauryzbay kazhy Taganuly who could make substantial changes in the capital city's religious life. He also noted that he was deeply appreciative of the new head Imam's contribution to the formation and development of the office recently set up in Turkestan.
Supreme Mufti Serikbay Satybaldyuly congratulated Nauryzbay kashy Taganuly on the new post and wished success.
Nauryzbay kazhy Taganuly Otpenov was born in 1977.
1993-1997 - the Islamic Institute named after Imam Al-Bukhari in Tashkent;

2010 - he finished the Faculty of History of Almaty State University named after Abai;
2011-2013 - he finished the master's programme with distinction majoring in 'Religious studies' at Almaty State University named after Abai;
From 2017 he is a doctoral candidate at the Faculty 'Islamic Studies' of the Egyptian University of the Islamic Culture 'Nur Mubarak'.
