Head of OSCE office was acquainted with the preparations for elections of Kazakhstan Senate deputies
Today the meeting of the chairman of the CEC of Kazakhstan Berik Imashev with the head of office of OSCE programs in Astana György Sabo has taken place, BNews.kz reported.
The chairman of the Central Electoral Commission has acquainted participants of a meeting with work which is held now by Central Election Commission and electoral bodies of the country. The main directions of this work are further improvement of electoral laws and preparation for the next elections of deputies of the Senate of parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan which are coming this year.
The head of office of OSCE programs in Astana has in turn expressed gratitude for the organization of a meeting and has stated confidence in further effective cooperation.
Also the questions connected with the organization of visit by members of the CEC of the headquarters of the ODIHR/OSCE in Warsaw concerning the status of implementation of recommendations of the ODIHR/OSCE in May, 2017, the organization of the international conference in October, 2017 and also an annual seminar training for the international observers in November, 2017 have been discussed at a meeting.
Also during the meeting the directions of further cooperation of Central Election Commission and OSCE in the sphere of development and improvement of the elective legislation, democratization of electoral process in the Republic of Kazakhstan were discussed. In conclusion of a meeting of the party have expressed confidence that the traditional relations of partnership and cooperation will find the development in the future.
