Head of President's Administration told about changes aiming at improving Kazakhs' well-being

The head of the President's Administration has made a speech during the opening of the training-seminar 'Transformational leadership in the conditions of a changing world' delivering a motivational lecture.  

 

 

The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan has organized the training-seminar entitled 'Transformational leadership in the conditions of a changing world' with the participation of representatives of the President's Administration, executive secretaries of central government agencies, heads of offices of the Governors, Mayors of Astana, Almaty and Shymkent, BNews.kz reports referring to the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Kazakhstan. 

The head of the President's Administration, Asset Issekeshev, had delivered a lecture during the opening of the training-seminar, noting that in the Address 'Growing Welfare of Kazakh Citizens: Increase in Income and Quality of Life' head of state Nursultan Nazarbayev set a task to drastically increase the effectiveness of government agencies at all levels within the establishment of the State Apparatus focusing on the needs and the improvement of Kazakh's well-being.  

During his speech, the head of the President's Administration shared his vision on necessary changes that should affect each citizen of our state by improving the people's welfare.  

"The form and content of the Address, as well as the tasks set in it, dictate the necessity to apply new styles of government and to work out efficient reforms. Therefore, the government agencies must increase the effectiveness of their work that will be controlled by a new system to monitor and assess the progress of reforms in the near future," said Issekeshev. 

He outlined the necessity of the clear results framework, the switch from strategic planning to strategic management with the introduction of the project approach in public administration. 

Within the event, Chairman of the Accounts Committee to control the implementation of the Republican budget N. Godunova, rector at the Academy of Public Administration F. Zhakypova, Chairman of the Management Committee of the Regional Hub in the public service A. Baimenov, representatives of the government agencies, as well as Director of Korn Ferry Hay Group (USA) T. Larionov, associate director of Meinhardt Group (Singapore) Kevin Chong. 

On the second day of the Seminar, the training's participants held an inteactive discussion on modern styles of government such as Scrum and Agile, organizational development and worked out draft proposals to transform different spheres of public administration.
