In Almaty, as part of digitalization, it is planned to replace paper information booklets with infoboxes, Bnews.kz correspondent reports.
It was said by Deputy Head of the Healthcare Department of the city Zhanar Madiyeva as part of Day of Digitalization in Almaty.
"It is planned to cancel using paper stands with information on the polyclinic, its work and to replace them with infoboxes. They include stands, monitors with all necessary information on the medical organization so the patient can approach, go through, read," she said.
Also, it is planned to introduce a healthcare situation center in Almaty.
"We need it to not only integrate with medical information systems but also so that we and the Mayor's Office regularly review deficits of the quality of personnel, what specialists Almaty lacks; pharmaceutical supplies on an outpatient basis; movement of financial resources so we could see the full picture without requiring information in each hospital," said Madiyeva.
In addition, she expressed complaints about the software the ambulance service department. According to Madiyeva, it should be integrated with all emergency services.
"The information system of emergency service is not totally satisfactory, we would like to upgrade the software of the service so that the information system is integrated not only with information systems of medical organizations but also with all emergency services," said Zhanar Madiyeva.
