Investment in processing industry has risen in Akmola region

"From January to October 2018 inclusive, KZT 225 billion has been attracted to the Akmola region. The share of private investment compared to the last year has risen to 80% and made up KSZ 178.7 billion," they said in the Regional Department of Entrepreneurship and Industry, BNews.kz correspondent reports.
There has been an increase in investment in the processing industry.
"Its level has reached 184.7% of the given period of 2017. A 1.5-time increase in the non-commodity sector has been observed compared to last year, where the amount of investment in the main capital (except for investment from the state budget) has made up KZT 132.6 billion," they said in the Department.
Considerable amounts of investment were invested by such investors as Makinsk poultry farm, a complex for production of furniture and metal products Kazyna SR, the Tsatak Green Energy wind electronic power station, expanding the production of ENKI ceramic bricks, reconstructing and updating the Astana Ceramic brick plant.
In total, 46 projects have been brought into use in the Akmola region in 2018, as well as 1 515 workplaces have been created.
"The implementation of such large-scale projects as the AIC Bavaria Product stock-rasing facility, the second phase of Makinsk poultry farm, the Eurasia Group Kazakhstan service center is underway," they said in the Department.
