Kazakh actor was recognized as the best actor at Film Festival of SCO states
The film was shot by JSC Kazakhfilm named after Sh.Aimanov.
Kazakhstan’s actor, Honoured worker of Kazakhstan Toleubek Aralbay, who plays the main character in the film The Small Prince of the Big City, received the prize The Best Male Role at the Film Festival of the SCO member states that was held in Qingdao from June 113-17, BNews.kz reports with reference to a press service of JSC Kazakhfilm.
The film The Small Prince of the Big City shot by Kazakhfilm named after Sh.Aimanov under the participation of Adigul production to meet the order of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan reveals a story of friendship of two loneness – a six-year-old pupil of the orphanage and a veteran from the nursing home.
The shooting was held in Astana and nearby Borovoe of Akmola region. The premier of the film was held on June 1, 2017, on Children’s Day. The film came out in mid-October of the same year. The feature film was presented at the main contest of the 2nd International Film Festival ‘Eurasian Bridge’.
In the contest programme of the Film Festival of the SCO member states, 23 films took part, among them two Kazakhstan’s films. In total, more than 60 films were presented at the Festival.
