Kazakh boxers are in World Boxing Championships semi-finals

New-Delhi (India) finished the quarter-finals of the Women's World Boxing Championships. The two Kazakh boxers succeeded in entering the next round, BNews.kz reports referring to Olympic.kz.
A total of 5 representatives of the team from Kazakhstan took part in the quarter-finals. Fariza Sholtay (up to 81 kg) was not able to beat Belarussian Viktoria Kabikava.
Karina Ibragimova defeated the Chinese boxer, and Zhaina Zhkerbekova beat Polish Sandra Drabik with a 5:0 score in the weight class up to 51 kg.
Milana Safronova (up to 64 kg) lost to Ukrainian Maria Bova, and Kazakh Lyazzat Kungeibayeva (over 81 kg) to American boxer Daniella Perkins.
Karina Ibragimova and Zhaina Shekerbekova entered the semi-finals of the Championships, as well as they secured medals themselves.
