Kazakh Foreign Minister tells the date of Astana process's next round
The guarantor states will gather in Astana at the end of November.
A round of talks on the settlement of the conflict in Syria will take place as part of the Astana process in late November in Astana. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Kairat Abdrakhmanov told to the media representatives on the sidelines of the government, BNews.kz correspondent reports.
"The guarantor states of the Astana Process (Russia, Turkey, and Iran) agreed to hold the 11th high-level international meeting on Syria as part of the Astana Process on November 28-29," said Kairat Abdrakhmanov.
According to o hin, the meeting is planned in a traditional format with the participation of delegations of the guarantor states, the Syrian government, the Syrian armed opposition.
Representatives of the United Nations and Jordan are also invited to the meeting in Astana as observers.
