Kazakh Government discussed investment, tax and industrialization issues

In addition, the Governors of the regions delivered their reports to the Kazakh Prime Minister.

Kazakh PM Bakytzhan Sagintayev held a meeting on the current status of the works as part of project management for the Third modernization of Kazakhstan. An official website of the Prime Minister reports.  

“The meetings discussed the main growth indications for the first half year and reserves for further development in such directions as investment attraction, defense and aerospace industry, tax policy, basic industry. Also, issues regarding project management by the Governor’s Offices of Akmola region and the city of Almaty were discussed,” says the reports.

In particular, the reports on targets over 6 months of the present year and plans for the second half year of Minister of Defense and Aerospace Industry Beibut Atamkulov concerning the industry he observes, these of Minister for Investments and Development Zhenis Kassymbek on investment attraction and development of basic industrialization, as well as Finance Minister Bakhyt Sultanov’s plans on the increase of tax collection were heard.

Governor of Akmola region Malik Murzalin and Mayor of the city of Almaty Baurzhan Baibek reported on the measures and plan taken for 2018 to develop transport and logistics, the agro-industrial complex, tourism, trade, education, healthcare, mass entrepreneurship, investment attraction and achievement of productive employment.
