Kazakh government starts facing tasks set in Presidential Address to people of Kazakhstan
The government has presented a draft National Action Plan to implement the Address 'Growth of Kazakhstan's Welfare: Increase of Income and Life Standards'.
The Kazakh Minister of National Economy, Timur Suleimenov, talks about the tasks the government is to fulfil so to implement the State of the Nation Address of the head of state delivered on October 5, 2018, BNews.kz correspondent reports.
"The head of state paid great attention to Kazakhstani citizens' well-being. Among the most important is a 1.5-time increase of the minimum wage from January 1, 2019. The legislation will face amendments to provide transparency of a tariff formation mechanism, the use of the funds of consumers of public services, so to protect the population's income" said the Minister of National Economy at the government's session.
To effectively support businesses, a 'Business Road Map' until 2025 will be proposed, as well as the National Programme of Industrial Innovative Development until 2025 was adopted.
"Under the second task 'To increase life standards', 22 actions are envisaged, including the actions aiming at increasing the quality of pre-school, secondary and high education.
The Law 'On the Status of Teachers' will be adopted to stimulate teachers and workers of pre-school organizations in the next year, as well as in the sphere of healthcare so to increase the quality of medical services a National Scientific Oncology Centre equipped with cutting-edge devices will be constructed in the next year in Astana," said the Minister.
Also, Timur Suleimenov noted that a Committee to control the quality and safety of goods and services would be established to protect the population from low-quality and harmful goods and services.
Within the third task, which is to create a comfortable living environment, the actions to increase housing conditions, comfortable and safe living in any settlement of the country are envisaged.
"To ensure the country's rational territorial organization, a fundamental framework of the country's spatial development until 2030 will be adopted. To qualitatively implement the fundamental framework, a Programme for Development of Regions until 2025 will be passed, as well as the implementation of the 'Nurly zhol' and 'Nurly zher' programmes will be continued until 2025 so to develop the transport infrastructure and residential and condominium construction," said the head of the National Ministry.
