Kazakh PM meets with KIMEP University President Chan Young Bang
The meeting has discussed the modern education model in higher education institutions and other issues in education and science that matter most.
On 29 January, Kazakh Prime Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev has met with KIMEP University President Chan Young Bang, BNews.kz correspondent reports referring to primeminsiter.kz.
The meeting discussed a wide range of issues related to the modern model of education in higher education, new methods and approaches in the development of the university, as well as international standards of higher education.
KIMEP is one of the flagships of the system of domestic higher education, the oldest and largest university. The university was founded Jan. 14, 1992 in Almaty. One of the first universities in Central Asia that introduced the North American credit technology of training for undergraduate and graduate programs. All academic programs of the university are taught in English. KIMEP University programs have received international accreditation from prestigious European and American accreditation agencies.
