Kazakh President submits two draft laws aimed at updating the judicial system to Mazhilis

The draft laws focus on high-quality improvement of judicial personnel and institutional strengthening of the High Judicial Council. 

In accordance with Item 1 of Article 61 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the head of state submitted a draft Constitutional Law of Kazakhstan 'On the introduction of amendments and additions to the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan 'On the judicial system and the status of judges of the Republic of Kazakhstan' and a draft law of Kazakhstan 'On the introduction of amendments and additions to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the modernisation of the judicial system' to the Mazhilis for consideration.  

The draft laws are designed to implement the Address of the President of Kazakhstan to the people of Kazakhstan as of October 5, 2018, and provide for the amendments aimed at updating the judicial system, judicial personnel, institutional strengthening the High Judicial Council.
