Kazakh President thanked composer Tlendiyev's daughter for her contribution to art 

Nursultan Nazarbayev specially underlined the role of the folk and ethnographic orchestra in the implementation of the tasks announced in the programme of spiritual modernization. 

 

 

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev held a meeting with a head of Otyrar   sazy state and academic folk-ethnographic orchestra Dinzukhra Tlendiyeva, an official website of Akorda reports.   

During the meeting, the head of state noted the importance of constant support to develop culture and art in the context of the Rukhani Janghyru programme. 

"I was well familiarized with your father for over many years. The Otyrar Sazy orchestra being academic named after him. In due time, the orchestra included 6 musicians, now it consists of 66 musicians," said the President.  

Nursultan Nazarbayev specially underlined the role of the folk and ethnographic orchestra in the implementation of the tasks announced in the programme of spiritual modernization. 

"You toured to France and performed in Astana, thus demonstrating our national instruments to the entire world. The national day of the dombra was established to promote folk art, during which over 1000 dombra players were engaged. All these efforts meet the directions of the Rukhani Janghyru programme. You continue the success of our prominent composer Nurgisa Tilendiyev, and I express my gratitude for this," said the head of state. 

In turn, Dinzukhra Tlendiyeva thanked the President of Kazakhstan for the support for the sphere of domestic art and expressed her support for the development programmes taking place in the country.
