Kazakh Secretary of State congratulated Italy on the presidency of OSCE
The Secretary of State of Kazakhstan held a meeting with the Ambassador of Italy.
Secretary of State of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gulshara Abdykalikova held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to Kazakhstan Stefano Ravanyan, the Akorda press service reports.
At the meeting, Gulshara Abdykalikova thanked the Italian Ambassador, who finishes his diplomatic mission, for the productive work in Kazakhstan and wished the further successes.
The Secretary of State underlined that in the period of diplomatic mission of Ravanyan, the visit of President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to Italy was organized for the participation in EXPO-2015 in Milan.
Gulshara Abdykalikova noted that over 25 years, trustful relations have been established between Kazakhstan and Italy, that reached the level of strategic partnership.
“We with the great interest followed the parliamentary elections in Italy, according to which, new members of the Parliament and Government were selected,” the Secretary of State said.
The Kazakh Secretary of State congratulated Italy on the current presidency of OSCE and the successful non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council in 2017.
The Secretary of State expressed gratitude to the leadership of Italy for the participation in EXPO-2017 and noted that the Italian pavilion presented the best developments in the green technologies sphere.
Also, at the meeting, the sides discussed the current situation of the Kazakh-Italian relations and perspectives of political, economic and cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
