Kazakh Secretary of State congratulated Kazakh citizens on Independence Day

The Secretary of State noted that on the eve of the national day, a ceremony of awarding state prizes to Kazakh citizens has turned into a good tradition. 

 

Secretary of State of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gulshara Abdykalikova has congratulated Kazakh citizens on the upcoming Independence Day at a ceremony of presenting state awards, a press service of Akorda informs. 

Gulshara Abdykalikova noted that it turned into a good tradition to present state awards to Kazakh citizens marked by the President for exceptional merits and personal contribution to the country's development. She wished strong health, family well-being, and success. 

 

This year 1600 people have been awarded, including figures of science, education, healthcare, culture, civil servants, workers and farmers, representatives of various sectors of the economy. 

Owing to the precise strategic course of Nursultan Nazarbayev, a modern progressive states with a dynamically developing economy with the peace and public concord have been established.  

Kazakhstan conducts large-scale transformations, implements the Kazakhstan 2050 strategy aiming at joining the top 30 states of the world. The following documents: the National Plan, the Third modernization, the Five Presidential Social Initiatives have been adopted, as well as the Growing Welfare of Kazakh Citizens: Increase in Income and Quality of Life' Address, the Ruhani Zhangyru programme, Digital Kazakhstan, priorities of the Seven Facets of the Great Steppes are under implementation. The programmes aim to improve the economy, policy and public conscience. She underlined that the year 2018 was full of the anniversary events. The main event of the present year has been the 20th anniversary of Astana. 

The Astana International Financial Centre has been opened, as well as Astana International Exchange has been given a start and the International Technological Park of IT start-ups 'Astana Hub.' Kazakhstan successfully concludes its two-year term as a rotating chair in the United Nations Security Council.
