Kazakh tennis players keep their positions in top-100 updated rankings
Mikhail Kukushkin moved by 17 positions up in the ATP rankings, and Putintseva and Diyas keep their positions in the WTP rankings.
The Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) and the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) have published updated rankings, Sports.kz reports.
The first three tennis players remain to keep their positions, with Spanish Rafael Nadal being a leader, Serb Novak Djokovic - second, and Swiss Roger Federer - third.
The only tennis player from Kazakhstan in the top-100 Mikhail Kukushkin has largely improved his position, moving from the 71st to the 54th place. Note that the last week the Kazakhstani tennis player made his way to the semi-finals of the tournament in Vienna (Austria) in which he lost to Japanese Kei Nishikori - 4:6, 3:6.
Aleksandr Nedovyesov climbed the 241st position, but Alexandr Bublik (248) lost one position.
Kazakh tennis players Putintseva and Dias have retained their positions in the top-100 WTA rankings.
Romanian Simona Halep still tops the WTA rankings, Angelique Kerber from Germany - second, and Danish Caroline Wozniacki - third.
Kazakh Yulia Putintseva keeps the 45th place, with other Kazakh tennis players Zarina Diyas and Elena Rybakina ranking 90th and 201st respectively.
In doubles, Galina Voskoboeva climbed one position up and takes the 72nd place.
