Kazakh, Uzbek speakers of Parliaments conclude memorandum of cooperation
According to the memorandum, the Mazhilis of Parliament of Kazakhstan and the Supreme Assembly of Uzbekistan will develop interparliamentary cooperation to strengthen friendly relations between the two states.
Mazhilis Chairman Nurlan Nigmatulin and speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nuriddinjon Ismailov signed a memorandum of cooperation.
The historical document that opens a new benchmark of Kazakh-Uzbek interparliamentary interaction has been signed as part of the first official visit of the speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan to our country in the history of bilateral relations.
Nurlan Nigmatulin and Nuriddinjon Ismailov have discussed the current cooperation of the Kazakh and Uzbek parliamentarians.
The interlocutors have noted the increasing Kazakh-Uzbek interaction in the past few years and underlined the agreements reached between Presidents Nursultan Nazarbayev and Shavkat Mirziyoyev fully demonstrate the example of constructive dialogue developing in the spirit of good neighborliness and mutual understanding.
"Today, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan have established the reliable political dialogue, a solid foundation to develop multifaceted cooperation in all spheres has been formed, owing to the effective joint efforts of Presidents Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev and Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev based on mutual understanding and friendship. All this will enable to elevate the interaction of Kazakh and Uzbek parliamentarians," said Nurlan Nigmatulin.
In his turn, the speaker if the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Nuriddinjon Ismailov underlined the unique role of President Nursultan Nazarbayev in the country's successful development, and highly spoke of the achievements of Kazakhstan.
"Owing to Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, you managed to create wonderful conditions for Kazakh citizens' development, and primarily, for young persons, in a short period. You have raised a unique capital city. Nursultan Nazarbayev can be called as the main architect of statehood of Kazakhstan," said Nuriddinjon Ismailov.
Speaking of the interparliamentary relations, the speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis noted that this visit is a wonderful opportunity to discuss the current state of cooperation and prospects for the interaction of Kazakh and Uzbek parliamentarians.
According to the memorandum, the Mazhilis of Parliament of Kazakhstan and the Supreme Assembly of Uzbekistan will develop interparliamentary cooperation to strengthen friendly relations between the two states. Additionally, the sides will facilitate the expansion of a treaty and legal base of bilateral cooperation, the fast ratification and entry into force of the international treaties between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan within their competences.
