Kazakhstan's special forces have been recognised best in competitions taking place in China
More than 100 best snipers from 21 states, including China, Belarus, Hungary, Israel and Pakistan take part in the competitions taking place from October 18 to 22.
Kazakhstan's special forces have taken the lead in the exercises to free hostages as part of the international competitions in sniping, BNews.kz correspondent reports referring to a press service of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Following the second day of the competitions, The Kazakh National Guard's special purpose units 'Burkit' have scored the best result in the exercises focusing to free the hostage. The team from Kazakhstan have hit all four moving targets a 'terrorist-hostage' presented in the frontal part of a terrorist.
In the competitions taking place from October 18 to 22, 100 best snipers from 21 states take part, including China, Belarus, Hungary, Israel and Pakistan. Kazakhstan is represented by the special purpose unit 'Burkit' of the National Guard. The event is organized by the People's Armed Militia of China, which aims at building a platform for exchange and demonstration enabling anti-terrorist forces of various states to learn from each other, to jointly increase the level and to strengthen the friendship.
In addition, the competitions are aimed at further development of potential in combatting terrorism, as well as at increasing the professional qualification and capabilities of snipers.
Taking into account the peculiarities of the anti-terrorist special operations, these competitions include 12 disciplines in the four categories. The competitions are held in various locations at the same time.
Units of the 'Burkit' special purpose of the National Guard are taking part in the competitions for the second time. Of note, on the first day of the competitions, fighters of the special forces won the special prize 'Ostryi klinok'.
The international competitions in sniping 'Ostryi klinok' are the main brand of the People's Armed Militia of China for training in the conditions close to combat conditions and to the provision of international cooperation.
The 'Ostryi klinok' competitions organized one/two times a year were held in 2016 in Beijing and involved participants from 15 states.
