Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan to simplify customs procedures

Kazakhstan Ministry of Finance and the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan signed in Baku the agreement on the preliminary exchange of the information about goods and vehicles transported between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Azerbaijan Republic, BNews.kz correspondent reports.

During the meeting the sides admitted the importance of preliminary exchange of information in order to simplify and speed up the customs procedures.

Kazakhstan representative was the delegation of State Revenue Committee of Kazakhstan Ministry of Finance to Azerbaijan headed by the Vice-Chairman Gosman Amrin.

Kazakhstan delegation and administration of State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan discussed the prospects of a further cooperation in the sphere of customs affairs.

Kazakhstan side signed the Actions plan between the State Revenue Committee of Kazakhstan Ministry of Finance and the Republic of Turkey Ministry of customs and trade relating mutual recognition of programs of Authorized Economic Operator.

State Customs Committee and Kazakhstan Ministry of Finance signed the agreement on the preliminary exchange of information about goods and vehicles transported between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. The Head of the State Customs Committee Aydyn Aliyev and Gosman Amrin signed the document.

During the festive event Gosman Amrin congratulated Azerbaijan partners and the staff of Azerbaijan SCC on 25-year Anniversary and wished success in further work. Also he noted the high level of the relations between customs service of two countries, and also gave appreciation to work aimed at the development and modernization of customs both at the national level, and within two side cooperation.
