Kazakhstan citizen of interest in fraud extradited from Ukraine
The man is accused of fraud for the amount of more than 30 million tenge.
The citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan extradited from Ukraine to Kazakhstan, who is taking part in large scale fraud in Aktobe, Bnews.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
"Today, employees of the Prosecutor General's Office jointly with the Interpol of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan extradited Kazakhstan citizen Maksim Korobko from Ukraine for criminal prosecution," says the statement.
The investigation says that in 2013, through the abuse of trust he received from "Globus" LLP and Boltenko V.N. more than 30 million tenge for the supply and installation of elevator equipment, but did not fulfill the obligation.
"After the crime, he managed to escape from the criminal prosecution authorities, and he was put on international wanted list. Korobko is currently placed in the investigative isolator of Astana," says the website of the Ministry.
