Kazakhstan mulls over establishing of Int’l Architects Academy

According to expert, such kind of a platform allows organizing the best projects and create world-class buildings both in the CIS countries and Eurasia.

The idea of establishing of the International Architects Academy in Kazakhstan was announced during the press conference dedicated to the World Congress of Architects which is taking place in Astana these days, BNews.kz correspondent informs.

“Idea of the Academy’s establishment has been coming to fruition for a long time, but it was proposed to be voiced during the International Congress of Architects in Astana,” academician of the International Academy of Architects Serik Rustambekov told.

In addition, the speaker noted the establishment of such a platform for the live discussion between architects of the various generations will allow organizing best projects and create world-class buildings both in the CIS countries and Eurasia.

It should be noted the participants of the World Congress of Architects got an opportunity to prepare their proposals within 2-6 months. “The next conference will consider their submissions. Not least important is financial side of the project,” Rustambekov added.

The academician of the International Academy of Architects believes the Academe should be established in Astana as the idea of the Eurasianism originated from this very place. And of course, the architects should not be outside of this idea and take an active part in its further development.
