In Central Election Commission of Kazakhstan the meeting has taken place where the decision to refuse participation in observation of an election of the president of the Kyrgyz Republic on October 15 has been made, BNews.kz correspondent reported.

"I make the offer, to consider today the draft of the resolution of the CEC "On refusal of participation in observation of an election of the president of the Kyrgyz Republic on October 15, 2017 as the independent subject of observation. Kazakhstan CEC decides: the first to refuse participation in observation of an election of the president of the Kyrgyz Republic on October 15, 2017 on mutual understanding between the Central commission on elections and holding referenda of the Kyrgyz Republic and CEC of Kazakhstan signed on August 9, 2012. The second: about the made decision to notify the Central commission on elections and holding referenda of the Kyrgyz Republic through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan," the vice-chairman of the CEC of Kazakhstan Konstantin Petrov told at the meeting.

At the same time fulfilling the assumed international obligations, the Central Electoral Commission has carried out work on the direction of representatives of Kazakhstan as observers on presidential elections in the Kyrgyz Republic. 46 Kazakhstan observers will carry out monitoring of elections in structures of missions of the CIS, the ODIHR/OBSE, SCO, CCTS and also through parliamentary assemblies of the CIS, OSCE, the Turkic-speaking countries.

We will remind that the president of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev accused the authorities of Kazakhstan of intervention in a presidential pre-election race of Kyrgyzstan which results will become known after October 15. The MFA of Kazakhstan has in turn shown a resolute protest, having counted similar statements and statements provocative and inadmissible in the relations between two friendly countries.
