Kazakhstan people transferred KZT23bn within the country

This is by 0.5% more compared to a year ago. To compare, the volumes of money transfer abroad increased by 30% per year.

The volumes of internal money transfers within Kazakhstan remained almost the same. Over January-December of 2017 the sum made up 23.2 billion tenge, that was by 0.5% more than in the same period of 2016. A year ago, the volumes decreased by more than twice, from 49.1 billion tenge to 23.1 billion tenge, Ranking.kz reports.

Moreover, the number of transactions decreased over a year by 3.3% to 223.2 thousand tenge. A year ago, the decrease by 62.3% from 661.7 to 230.8 thousand transactions was observed.

At the same time, the sum of an average cheque of a transfer is has being increased. Over 2017, it comprised 103.9 thousand tenge, that is by 3.9% more than over 2016.

Among the money transfer systems in terms of volumes within the country, Faster leads - 6.3 billion tenge, that is 8.3% less than last year. The share of the Republic of Kazakhstan decreased from 29.7% to 27.1%.

Western Union follows with a slight lag -  6.2 billion tenge, with an increase of 22.5% over the year. The share of Kazakhstan has grown from 22.1% to 26.9%.

The "Golden Crown" ends the top 3 list of leaders with a volume of 5.4 billion tenge, which is 47.3% more than in January-December 2016. The share of Kazakhstan has grown over the year from 15.9% to 23.3%.

By the number of transactions, postal transfers take the leading position - 95.5 thousand with a growth by 7.4% within a year. The share of Kazakhstan increased from 38.5% to 42.8%.

The second place takes Faster system - 73.4 thousand transactions, which is 11.5% less than last year. The share of Kazakhstan decreased from 35.9% to 32.9%.

The third place takes "Golden Crown" - 19.2 thousand transactions with a growth of 25.5% over a year. The share of Kazakhstan has grown from 6.6% to 8.6%.
