Kazakhstan strengthens its position on Russia's medicines market
Following the share of imports of medicines, Kazakhstan takes the second position among the EEU member states.
Kazakhstan's suppliers of medicines have strengthened their positions on the Russian market, BNews.kz correspondent reports with a reference to an official website of the embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation.
In the period from January to June 2018, totally 99.7 million packages of medicines produced within the EEU were supplied to Russia for a total amount of 9.9 billion rubles.
The first place in the share of imports is taken by Belarus - 70%. Kazakhstan takes the second position - 29%. The largest increase is observed in Kelun-Kazpharm, the import volumes of which have increased by almost 8 times.
Imports of medication from the EEU in the 1st-2nd quarters of 2018 have undergone through changes in names. From the beginning of the year, 112 trade names have been imported. The list was added with 12 names compared to 2017.
