The interstate agreements also imply cooperation in the sphere of legal assistance in criminal cases.

The agreements enable the law enforcement bodies of the two states to conduct proceedings in criminal cases within each country, as well as to extradite persons to bring criminal charges against them.
Such agreements create a necessary legal framework for effective cooperation in combatting crimes and protecting rights of citizens.
Following the ceremony, the foreign colleagues have presented the activity of the Centre for Law Enforcement of the General Prosecutor's Office, as well as the projects to digitalize the criminal and administrative procedure implemented by it.
Pavlo Petrenko was also informed on the activity of the Supervisory Body in international cooperation.
