Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan intend to sign an agreement on multi-visas
The Ministry of Culture of Kazakhstan plans to step up the signing of the agreement.
Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan plan to sign an agreement on multi-visas. It was said by Minister of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan Arystanbek Mukhamediuly within the 17th session of a joint Intergovernmental Commission on bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in Astana, BNews.kz reports.
“Our states have agreed on visas. That is, the visas, that are valid for tourists in Uzbekistan, are valid in Kazakhstan. There will be the common visa. Tourists who arrive Kazakhstan can visit Uzbekistan,” Mukhamediuly said.
According to the Minister of Culture, the agreement will be signed in the sphere of tourism cooperation together with the departments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“Following today’s Commission, we will sign the agreement and propose the decree to the Government within it. It is certain that we should step up the process. Time goes fast,” the Minister said.
