Kazakhstan’s leader offered condolences to Japan
Nursultan Nazarbayev sent a telegram of condolences to Prime Minister of Japan.
President of Kazakhstan sent a telegram of condolences to Prime Minister of Japan Shinzō Abe in connection with numerous human casualties as a result of torrential rains and landslides in Japan, BNews.kz correspondent reports with the reference to Akorda website.
"Sharing the bitterness of loss, I express my condolences to those who lost their loved ones and suffered from the disaster, as well as to the entire people of Japan," the telegram reads.
Nursultan Nazarbayev assured that Kazakhstan at this difficult time is in solidarity with Japan, and wished the victims a speedy recovery and a return to their family.
As reported earlier at least 64 people were killed and more than 40 were missing as a result of floods and landslides in western Japan.
