Kazakhstan’s crypto-currency market can reach a volume of $300-400mln

The expert appealed to the member countries of the EAEU to create an advisory council on the development of legislation in the field of crypto-currency.

In Almaty, an international "Cryptoconference" was held, at which businessmen, investors in crypto-currencies, representatives of the state office of Kazakhstan, as well as special guests-popular Hollywood actors took part, said the organizers of the event.

One of the speakers of the event, Chairman of the Council of the Kazakhstan Association of Blockchain and Crypto-Currency Yesset Butin appealed to the member countries of the EAEU to create an advisory council on the development of legislation in the field of crypto-currency and hold the first meeting of the council in Almaty.

"The approach to the regulation and the draft laws that are being drafted, in our opinion, should create favorable conditions that will facilitate to the development of new technologies and attraction of investments in this sector. The lack of regulation of the crypto-currency market in Kazakhstan, and even worse, the ban on this activity in the conditions of the global regulatory trend, can lead to the curtailment of innovative projects in this area," said Yesset Butin.

According to the expert, already at the end of this year Kazakhstan's market of crypto-currencies can reach a volume of 300-400 million dollars.

In total, about 20 speakers from various fields of the crypto-currency industry spoke at Cryptoconference: traders, information security specialists, ICO projects promotion experts, suppliers of mining equipment, top managers of ICO projects, members of the blockchain associations. The reports were presented by Alibek Makhambetabiyev (CEO of KZCash), Ualikhan Nyssanov (CEO of Aida Service), Alexander Petrakovskiy (co-owner and CEO of BIttech), Oles Sribniy (Head of Investment Streamity) and many others.

It is noted that the bloackchain and digital money won the attention of not only businessmen but also Hollywood stars. At the conference, movie actors Mark Dacascos, Eric Roberts, Cary Tagawa and Bai Lin participated. They plan to take part in the shooting of a documentary about the nature and culture of East Kazakhstan.
