Kazakhstan’s Secretary of State met with Turkmen Ambassador
The meeting was focused on key directions of inner country’s policy.
Secretary of State of Kazakhstan Gulshara Abdikalikova has a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Kazakhstan Toyly Komekov, Akorda reports.
During the meeting, Gulshara Abdikalikova paid attention to hot issues of the country’s inner policy.
According to the instruction of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, current system modernization covers economic, policy and social conscience. State of the Nation Address of the President New Opportunities Under the Fourth Industrial Revolution aims to join leaders of the new world. Five social initiatives program goals forming of the new socially responsible state,” the Secretary of State stated.
Gulshara Abdikalokova pointed out bilateral relations on a wide spectrum were strengthened owing to confident and constructive high-level political dialogue. Moreover, the collaboration between Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan get strategic status.
Turkmenistan is a good neighbor for Kazakhstan, a reliable partner in Central Asia and fraternal state as well. Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan actively cooperate within different multilateral platforms (UNO, CIS, OIC and etc.). The interparliamentary and intergovernmental relations are strengthened, interregional contacts are extended. Intergovernmental Economic Cooperation Commission gets its act together. International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea is an important platform of the regional interaction.
In addition, Gulshara Abdikalikova underlined the trade turnover between the two states last year amounted to 99.3 million dollars, and noted that Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan have significant hydrocarbon reserves and a huge transit and transport potential.
At the end of the meeting, the Secretary of State of the Republic of Kazakhstan wished the Toyly Komekov a great success in the further development of cooperation in the spirit of good-neighborliness and strategic partnership.
