Kazakhstan's Leader is ready to facilitate defusing tension in the world - Senate Chairman
The policy to strengthen cooperation in the name of peace, security, and disarmament remains sustainable, fundamental and lies beyond the reach of any condition, the Senate speaker says.
Senate Chairman of Parliament Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received US Ambassador to Kazakhstan George Krol on the occasion of the completion of the Ambassador's diplomatic mission in Kazakhstan and thanked him for the good work, BNews.kz reports with reference to a press service of the Senate of Parliament of Kazakhstan.
Having noted the considerable contribution of the US Ambassador to the development of bilateral relations, Tokayev underlined a historical significance of the visit of head of state Nursultan Nazarbayev in Washington in January. The important result of talks with President Donald Trump is a 'Joint Statement on an expanded strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and the USA in the 21st century.'
Talking about the importance of further development of interparliamentary relations, the interlocutors noted the need for their activation.
"The more Senators, Congressmen, and employees of the American House of representatives visit Kazakhstan, the more the USA will know about Kazakhstan, about its internal and external policy," said the Senate speaker.
The interlocutors underlined that a strategic nature of cooperation and partnership between Kazakhstan and the USA plays a key role in strengthening security in the Central Asian region.
Tokayev, referring to the worsening international situation, noted the readiness of the Kazakh Leader to facilitate to defuse tension. According to the Senate Chairman, the policy to strengthen cooperation in the name of peace, security and disarmament remains sustainable, fundamental and lies beyond the reach of any condition.
