Screenings of Kazakhstan movies to take place in India

Movies by JSC Kazakhfilm of Sh. Aymanov production will be shown within the program event "Focus to Kazakhstan" at the 21st International Film Festival in Kerala. It will be held from December 9 to December 16, 2016 in Tiruvanantapuram city, the capital of the State of Kerala (India), correspondent reports.

Within the festival  following screenings of a film by Kazakhfilm studio will be shown: Kelin (director E. Tursunov), Shal (director E. Tursunov), "Student" (director D. Omirbayev) and animation feature film "Kazak eli" (director B. Daurenbekov) shot by SAK studio at the request of the Ministry of Culture and sport of Kazakhstan.

It should be noted that within the festival screenings of Serik Aprymov movies called “Hunter” and “Bauyr” shot by Kazakhfilm studio production will take place. The director will personally provide the movies to the Indian public.

The international Film Festival in Kerala is held since 1996 and is one of the most important events in India. The organizer of the international review is Chalachitra film academy with assistance of the Ministry of Culture of the state. The festival obtained accreditation of the International federation of associations of film producers in 1999.
