Malaysian lamps worth $500 installed in Astana

 A gift of the Malaysian entrepreneur to the 20th anniversary of Astana is a part of street lightning along Kravtsov street.

Malaysia's economical lamps began operating in the Baikonyr district of Astana. The cost of one piece is 500 thousand dollars, correspondent reports.

Today the executive director of the corporation Itramas Corporation LLP Youn Shen Lee symbolically handed over the lamp manufactured by Malaysian company as a gift to the governor of Baikonyr district Yerlan Kanalymov.

The basic goal of our campaign is to make a gift to Kazakhstan as we have a great experience in renewable energy sources and energy efficiency,” Youn Shen Lee stated.

Totally 103 LED lamps were installed at the territory of the district, with the help of which it is planned to save electricity up to 2.5 times.

"The high technological lamps are installed all over Malaysia. Itramas Corporation LLP which is analogue of such companies as Bosh and Siemens imports its production to 42 countries of the world. Due to 70 kW of energy consumption, we plan to save the energy more than 2.5 times,” Yerlan Kanalimov stated.

Besides, the governor of Astana new district told about advantages of these lamps - saving electricity and aesthetic appearance. In addition, the street part is lit with white light, and the pedestrian part is yellow. In his words, it will reduce the accident rate in the city, as night lighting for the driver should burn 30% brighter than on the pedestrian section.
