Martirosyan’s promoter talks with IBF to organize the fight with Golovkin

One of the supposed opponents of Kazakhstan's Golovkin, whom the boxer will have a fight on May 5, may become American boxer Vanes Martirosyan, Sports.kz reports.
It is known that Don King and Tom Loeffler make efforts to organize the fight on May 5.
According to ESPN, King also holds talks with the leadership of the International Boxing Federation (IBF) and asks them to give their consent to organize the fight. Talks between the sides continue, and Martirosyan remains Golovkin's first option to fight on Cinco de Mayo.
We note, the IBF insists that on May 5 Gennady should hold a compulsory defence fight of his world champion title against Ukrainian boxer Serhiy Derevianchenko (12-0, 10 KOs).
