Mazhilis Chairman Nurlan Nigmatulin met Vice Speaker of Chamber of Deputies of Italy Ettore Rosato

Kazakh Mazhilis Chairman Nurlan Nigmatulin held a meeting with Vice Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of Italy Ettore Rosato, BNews.kz reports referring to a press service of the Mazhilis of Parliament of Kazakhstan.
The Italian Parliamentarian arrived in our state to take part in the International Parliamentary Conference named Astana - the center of global integration, peace, and security organized by the Mazhilis on the occasion of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Mazhilis Speaker emphasized the large-scale initiatives of President Nursultan Nazarbayev that will enable the country to enter the most dynamic economies of the modern world, to be the venue to take global political solutions, the center of security and peace.
Speaking of Kazakh-Italian relations, Nurlan Nigmatulin noted the constructive political dialogue established over 25 years of diplomatic relations, deep economic relations, as well as the 10th anniversary of an agreement on strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Italy.
In his turn, Ettore Rosato underlined that Italy pays great attention to the development of relations with our state, and emphasized that owing to anti-nuclear initiatives of President Nursultan Nazarbayev, the country [Kazakhstan] always plays a crucial role in spreading the idea of peace and accord between the states.
The interlocutors spoke of the strengthening interaction between Kazakh and Italian parliamentarians. According to Nurlan Nigmatulin, the experience of Italian counterparts in the support for innovative development, digitalization of the economy, the use of 'green technologies', education are of practical interest.
The Mazhilis Chairman also underlined the importance of the exchange of views on the pressing matters for the Eurasian states within the 4th Meeting of the Speakers of Parliaments of European and Asian states that will take place in 2019 in Astana. The Meeting is timed to the 25th anniversary of the Eurasian idea of President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev that will be celebrated next year.
