"To find foreign investors and their support, a national investment company has been set up today - it is Kazakhinvest (...) Now you know where to address. If you need a partner in Kazakhstan, then the doors of Kazakhinvest are open for you. Come and address, please, all conditions will be created for you," the Vice Minister for Investments and Development, Arystan Kabikenov, said.

As the Vice-Minister of the Ministry noted Kazakhstan is ready to provide a platform for the implementation of the projects in free-economic industrial zone, and investment contracts, which provide for investment preferences. In addition to this, a package of benefits and the simplification of permitting procedures are provided.

“More than 500 million people live on the territory of Kazakhstan within a radius of 2000 km. Kazakhstan's membership in the EAEU opens a common market, that is, with a capacity of more than 180 million consumers, and Kazakhstan provides access to the market of the countries of central Asia - somewhere around 40 million people. And, also to the market of countries bordering the Caspian Sea - 235 million potential consumers and to the market of Western China," he said.

As the speaker added, in 2017, the external trade turnover between our countries amounted to 980 million dollars with an increase of 10% compared to the same period.

"I would like to note that we are already implementing several projects today, one of them is on the construction of a shoe factory in the city of Kapchagay, as well as in Akmola region, we are implementing one project in Mangystau region. So, there are already some projects being implemented, I think, further expansion of joint projects is expected in the short term," Kabikenov said.
