Minsk holds Days of Culture of Kazakhstan
Kazakh people always take part in specialized cultural events and exhibitions and fairs organized in Belarus.
The Belarussian State Philarmonic has held an official opening ceremony of Days of Culture of Kazakhstan, Belta reports.
An official delegation from Kazakhstan led by an assistant to the Minister of Culture and Sports Baurzhan Karagyzuly has arrived to take part in the cultural programme.
The event will include performances of the following artistic collectives: Nurgisa Tlendiyev Academic Folk and Ethnographic Orchestra Otyrar sazy conducted by Kazakh merited figure Dinzukhra Tlendiyeva, and the State Academic Symphonic Orchestra run by Kanat Omarov.
Cultural ties of the two states are dynamically developing. Last year a memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Culture of Belarus and the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan was concluded in the Belarusian capital city, Minsk.
Kazakh people always take part in specialized cultural events and exhibitions and fairs organized in Belarus: the international Books of Belarus exhibition and fair, the international festival of arts Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk, The Minsk International Film Festival Listopad and so on.
Agreements between universities are also implemented, an exchange of professors and teachers, students becomes traditional. The partnership between the National Library of Belarus and the National Academic Library of Kazakhstan, A. Kasteyev State Museum of Art develops. The interaction between the state archives and museums of the two states has been established, as well as creative ties between literature and art, cinema and creative intelligentsia figures are kept.
The key role in the development of cultural and humanitarian cooperation between the states is occupied by the Belarussian diaspora in Kazakhstan. The large administrative centers of Kazakhstan have 13 ethnocultural associations of Belarussians.
