More and more specialists leave Kazakhstan. Over 2017, 37.7 thousand people left the country, which is 25.3% more than in 2015 (there are no data for 2016), when 30.1 thousand people left the country, the analytical portal on business and finance Finprom.kz reported.

The share of qualified personnel who left Kazakhstan was 54% or 20.4 thousand people, 17% more than in 2015 (data for 2016 are absent), when the outflow of professionals amounted to 17.4 thousand. Traditionally, the outflow occurs in technical specialties - 6.6 thousand people, economic - 3.6 thousand and pedagogical - 2.3 thousand.

It is noteworthy that almost quadruple qualified personnel arrived in Kazakhstan. Thus, only 16.1 thousand people (from the CIS - 11.6 thousand, from other countries - 4.5 thousand), 3.5% less compared to 2015 (there were 16.7 thousand people). The negative balance was 21.6 thousand people, for comparison in 2015 it was 13.4 thousand people.

Among qualified personnel only 5.8 thousand people arrived in 2017, which is 15% less than in 2015. Their share of the total number of arrivals to the republic was 36%, in 2015 - 40.9%.

Instead, 1,300 technical specialists, 841 economists and 718 teachers arrived. It is in these three areas that the balance of migration indicators is most negative, that is, the outflow of specialists in these sectors is not being filled up properly, the study emphasizes.
