National Economy Ministry announced Kazakhstan citizens' average monthly wages
The biggest notional wage is observed in financial and insurance activities.
In the 2nd quarter of 2018, the average nominal wage in Kazakhstan has made up 162 751 tenges. It was reported in the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan, BNews.kz correspondent reports.
Notional wage index in the same quarter of the past year was 108.5%, and that of the real wage was 102.2%.
The biggest notional wage was observed in financial and insurance activities - 335.3 thousand tenges (by 2.1 higher than the average level throughout the republic), in occupational, scientific and technical activities - 273.2 (an increase by 1.7), in the industry - 224.7 thousand tenges (an increase by 1.4), in the sphere of information and communications - 238.4 thousand tenges (an increase by 1.5), in construction - 212.8 thousand tenges (an increase by 1.3).
The smallest level of notional wages was observed in agriculture, forestry and fishery - 93.7 thousand tenges that is by 42.4% lower compared to the average indication around the republic.
As for regions, the biggest notional wage has been observed in Atyrau region - 291.3 thousand tenges that is by 1.8 times higher that the average indication around the republic. In Zhambyl region, the average wage has made up 111.2 thousand tenges that is by 31.7% lower than the average level throughout the country.
