Nazarbayev congratulates Putin on victory in the election
The head of state on the behalf of the people of Kazakhstan and personally congratulated Vladimir Putin on victory in the election.
The head of state sent a congratulation telegram to Vladimir Putin in connection to his re-election to the post of President of the Russian Federation, the Akorda press service reports.

The Kazakh President notes that the landslide victory in the election proves the high evaluation of the people of Russia of Vladimir Putin’s large contribution to the development of his country and promotion of its national interests.
“Under your effective leadership, Russia moves forward confidently on the way of large-scale political and economic reforms, increase in social well-being and active participation in resolving current global and regional issues.
I would like to emphasize Your contribution to the development of traditionally friendly and good-neighbourly relations between our states, that is a brilliant example of the strategic partnership and co-belligerency.
Kazakhstan focuses to continue expanding the ties with Russia both in a bilateral format and within the Eurasian economic union for the benefit of the two countries.
At the same time, I highly appreciate and value the friendship between our states, based on trust and mutual understanding.
I am certain that the further joint work will be a good foundation for a successful dialogue of Astana and Moscow in all spectrum of our multisided cooperation,” says the telegram.
Nursultan Nazarbayev wished Vladimir Putin strong health, happiness and new achievements in the post of President, and peace and prosperity to the friendly Russian nation.
We note that the head of state congratulated Putin on the telephone on the landslide victory in elections and wished new successes in the high official post.
Vladimir Putin, following the data of 99% of all protocols of the district election commissions, collects 76.65% votes in the election of the President of the Russian Federation, according to the data of the CEC of Russia.
