Nazarbayev received head of KIMEP University Chan-Young Bang
The head of state underlined the effectiveness of the University's activities.
President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev received Chan-Young Bang, the President of KIMEP University, BNews.kz reports referring to an official website of Akorda.
During the meeting, the head of state was informed of the current activities and the implementation of the Unversity's development plans.
The Kazakh President underlined the effectiveness of the efforts of the University in training high-qualitative specialists to meet the needs of the modern economy.
"The University was established in 1992. Over these years, about 12 thousand students have graduated from the University. Today, professors and teachers from all over the globe work there, 2109 students in 29 educational programmes study on a fee basis," said Nursultan Nazarbayev.
In his turn, Chan-Young Bang noted that 93% of the graduates of the University find jobs within 6 months after graduation.
The University's President also underlined that in the present year the University has been recognized as the best facility in developing science and innovations under the version of the Independent Agency for Quality Assurance in Education.
