Nazarbayev signs Double Taxation Avoidance Act with Croatia
The Act is being published in the press.
The Kazakh Head of State has signed the Act "On the ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Croatia to avoid double taxation and to prevent tax evasion in regard of income taxes and the Protocol thereto," Akorda informs.
Deputies of the Senate of Parliament of Kazakhstan adopted this Act at a plenary session in late December 2018. According to Kazakh Finance Minister Alikhan Smailov, such international agreements serve as a guarantee for foreign investors as well as create opportunities to fairly distribute taxing rights between the two States.
