Nazarbayev urges to bring up all members of EEU to one level
Mechanisms of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) will work more effectively if economies of all member countries will be approximately at one level, the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has said in an interview to Mir TV company.
"It is necessary to bring up all members of EEU to one level. Now one have left further in their development, others — in the middle, the third — absolutely below. This is the problem. It is necessary to bring up everybody in order to work. It turns out that the states which have objectively appeared more poorly hope that others will help them. But that doesn't happen, in market economy nothing is given for free. These expectations are, maybe, there are also disappointments. Everyone should work," the President of Kazakhstan told in an interview which is published on the website of TV channel.
At the same time Nazarbayev has emphasized that help of the countries each other has to be given in a type of creation of opportunities for trade, strengthening of commodity turnover, RIA Novosti writes.
"Of course, it is necessary to help. It is possible to do it by trade, commodity turnover, opening the market for trade, opening borders. But each state should be tightened to a certain level," the Head of state has noted.
The Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) is the international integration economic association created on the basis of the Customs union and the Common economic space and functioning since January 1, 2015. Now members of EEU are Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
