Nursultan Nazarbayev opens Government’s expanded session
The stocktaking in the social and economic sphere is planned for the session.
President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has opened an expanded session of the Government, BNews.kz correspondent reports.
The Head of State has noted that the session will deal with the results of social and economic growth over 2018 and the plans for the next year.
“Deputy Prime Minister Yerbolat Dossayev will report on the results of the country’s social and economic development and the plans for the next year, the National Bank’s Chairman Daniyar Akishev on the monetary-policy measures, Deputy Prime Minister Umirzak Shukeyev on the agro-industrial complex’s development and Minister Zhenis Kassymbek on the industrial and infrastructural development. The Governors of Western Kazakhstan and the Zhambyl region will deliver reports on the regions’ social and economic development,” said the President.
The President generally positively evaluated the Government’s work over 2018.
Note, Kazakhstan saw a 4.1% economic growth, and a 5.3% rise in inflation in the past year.
