Kazakhstan resolutely condemns Istanbul terrorism attack - Foreign Ministry
Kazakhstan resolutely condemns an act of terrorism which has happened in the airport of Istanbul on June 28, BNews.kz reports.
"Kazakhstan resolutely condemns the terrorist attack conducted on June 28, 2016 in Istanbul. We express deep condolences to the government and all fraternal people of Turkey, the family of the victims of this brutal crime. Kazakhstan again confirms the support to uncompromising fight against terrorism in any its manifestations and calls for further strengthening of coordination of the international efforts on this direction, including through creation of the wide international counterterrorist coalition," the Press Service of the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan reports.
On June 28, three explosions have thundered international airport of Ataturk in Istanbul. More than 30 people have died, the number of wounded has exceeded 100. According to the latest data, IS terrorist group is behind the explosions.
There are no data about Kazakhstan citizens among dead and injured yet.
"As of this hour, there are no citizens of Kazakhstan among dead and injured. We continue work on examination," the head of Press Service of the Foreign Ministry of Kazakhstan Anuar Zhaynakov said.
