Over KZT 9 billion spent for theatres and concerts in Kazakhstan
According to the results of the half-year, services in the sphere of culture and entertainment went up by 5.5% per year.
Based on results of the first quarter of this year, services in the sphere of creativity, art and entertainment worth of 9.2 billion tenge, which is by 14.4% more than a year ago were provided for Kazakhstani people, BNews.kz reports referring energyprom.kz studies.
The largest volume of services is concentrated in Almaty - 30.6% (2.8 billion tenge, + 12.5% for the year), and 30.1% - in Astana (2.8 billion tenge, immediately + 50.6%).
Numerous cultural events took place this year in Astana, in honor of the 20th anniversary of the capital.
For example, the first Comedy Theater, the only one in the country, began its work in the capital on the occasion of the jubilee of Astana. Citizens and guests of the city enjoyed performances of the puppet theaters of Turkey, Russia, Estonia, Poland, Tunisia, Belgium, Astana, which were held in the framework of the II International festival of puppets Kuralai. The contest of akyns (bards) was held at the K. Kuanyshbaev Kazakh State Musical and Dramatic Theater. International Street Dance Session in Astana- street dance festival was held in the City Square.
Besides, the capital for the first time hosted the international festival of special theaters Wide World-Great World aimed at revealing the creative abilities of people with disabilities, and many other creative and entertaining events.
More than half of the services in the first quarter of 2018 accounted for theatrical activities (54.5%), another 27.7% accounted for the concert sector.
It should be noted according to official figures, only 0.7% of services in the sphere of creativity, art, and entertainment falls on the countryside, the last year figure was similar.
It is noteworthy that the indicators for the volume of services in the sector as a whole for 2017 surpassed 2016 at once by 53.5%. For comparison, in the crisis 2015 year and the post-crisis 2016 year, the annual growth in the volume of services in the creative entertainment sector was only 1.9% and 6.2%, respectively, which, in fact, given inflation, meant a natural decline in interest in satisfying aesthetic needs during the fall life.
According to the results of the first half of the year 2018, the cost of services in the sphere of culture, entertainment and recreation rose by 5.5% to January-June a year earlier, with the inflation rate in the corresponding period - 6.4%.
For comparison, the annual price increased in the first six months of last year was 6.5%, with the inflation rate of 7.7%.
