President of Belarus handed gifts to participants of Junior Eurovision 2018
Participants, members of delegations and organizations of the Junior Eurovision presented a gift - a symbolic analog of the contest's main prize - to the Belarussian President.
Alexander Lukashenko met participants of the Junior Eurovision 2018 song contest, a press service of the President of Belarus.
The meeting was held in the Palace of Independence, where the Belarus President handed sweets and books about Belarus, underlining that all the young singers are already winners.
"You must be heartened and satisfied as you are the winners in your countries, and the lucky one will win here," said the Belarus leader.
He underlined that Belarus is distinguished by its honesty and fairness, so the strongest one will win.
Kazakh young singer Daneliya Tuleshova shared photos of her gifts on the network.
The participants sang an extract of the Eurovision contest's song LightUp!, which is the contest's slogan, for the Belarus head of state.
