Air Astana switches to the summer flight schedule

From March 26, 2018, the air company switches to the summer flight schedule, that will run till October 27, 2018.

The air company Air Astana switches to the summer flight schedule. In the summer season, flights to 21 states of the world will continue, including the five CIS states (Russia, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan), as well as Ukraine and Georgia. The domestic flights will be run in 42 cities, 30 out of which abroad, the press service of the national airline reported.

“In this period, the increase of frequency from Astana and Almaty and the opening of new flights are expected. From Almaty, the flights to London, Kiev, Omsk and Urumqi will be run on a daily basis, flights to Moscow in a week will be increased by up to 12, to Saint Petersburg to up to 9, to Beijing and Bishkek by 5, and to Deli and Tbilisi by 4. From Almaty, the flights to Beijing and Tbilisi will be daily, the number of flights per week to Moscow will be 16, to Saint Petersburg – 10, Kiev and Bishkek – 9, Dushanbe – 5, Baku – 4, Hongkong – 3,” says the message.

Moreover, form March 26, Air Astana will open a new flight Atyrau-Frankfurt-Atyrau, on June 2 Astana-Tumen-Astana, and on June – Astana-Kazan-Astana.  

In 2018, the transit passenger Air Astana had an opportunity to use the advantages of code-sharing agreements with the airline Cathay Pacific and LOT. The code-sharing agreements are still valid with Lufthansa, Air France/KLM, HongKong Airlines, Air India, Asiana Airlines, Bangkok Airways, Etihad Airways, Turkish Airlines, as well as 25 interline agreements.

All of these agreements expand the access of passengers of Air Astana to docking and tariffs of more than 400 foreign cities.
